Counselling
- 'a safe place to talk about difficult things.'
Apart from the basic parenting skills, specialized understanding and help has become
the need of the hour.
Sometimes parents become overly analytical and unnecessarily worried about issues
that are inherent in the process of growing up. Other times they deny or fail to
react to behaviour that children will not outgrow and that warrant evaluation and/or
guidance. School counsellors who are knowledgeable about child growth and development
can be a valuable consultation resource to parents and teachers, helping them find
a middle ground when it comes to assessing child behaviour.
Our qualified
counsellor will assist children and parents to cope up with the various problems,
anxieties and uncertainties that may affect them. She can help your child develop
better self-confidence, deal with peer problems, even help in personality development
or identify the child's aptitudes to choose an appropriate career.
Our counsellor is available on all working days during school hours.
