 Not every school
can boast of a regular choir singing in 4-part harmony i.e., Soprano, Alto, Bass
and Tenor. Well, not every school is St. Andrews and that is why we have one of
the best school choirs in the State.
Students who are musically inclined are chosen from classes VI to X for the
choir.
The school choir leads the school during Morning Assembly and Prayer Service and
special occasions like Founder's Day, Teacher's Day, etc.
We have special halls for conducting music classes for all our students.
St. Andrews has another choir with the school teachers as its members. The teacher's
choir participates actively in all the school functions.
The choir visits old age homes and shelter homes for the destitute during Christmas,
Diwali, Raksha Bandhan and other festivals to spread good cheer. Their melody simply
touches the heart and the soul of their audience as they sing in their mellifluous
voices.
