1. School starting time
Please ensure that the child gets to school or is at the bus stop on time. It is
the responsibility of the parents to ensure that their child is always on time
for school.
2. Gate Policy
- The gates will be opened for receiving students at 7:40 A.M. and closes at 8:10
A.M.
- Students should not be dropped before time and should also be picked up no later
than 30 minutes after school has ended.
- Playschool and LKG children should be in school by 8:55 A.M.
3. School Uniform
We ask all parents who send their children to our school to support the school
uniform policy. It is the responsibility of parents to ensure that their child
has the correct uniform and that it is clean and in good condition.
4. Discipline Policy
Students are expected to reflect a willingness to learn, to contribute to a more
effective learning environment and to display concern for the rights and
privileges of others. Students have to adhere to the student code of conduct and
abide by all the school rules.
5. Money, electronic gadgets and valuables
The school does not allow use of these items during school days. Therefore
parents must ensure that their children do not bring these items to school.
6. Attendance
Regular attendance is expected from every student. Parents need to accept
responsibility for regular attendance. Understand that absenteeism is disruptive
to your child and teachers and the school will not accept excessive absenteeism.
7. Examinations and attendance
The examination dates are set well in advance; therefore only genuine cases of
illness endorsed with Doctor's Certificate will be accepted for missing an exam.
Other than proven bereavement of an immediate family member no other excuse will
be accepted.
8. Contact Day
It is mandatory that parents attend these meetings as they help evaluate and
understand the child's performance, not just in academics, but also in sports
and other co-curricular activities.
9. Promotion
Promotion is based on the student's performance in the assignment tests and
examinations that are conducted through the year.
10. Library
Students are encouraged to utilise the library for all reading and research
needs. However, students/parents are responsible for damage or loss of books by
the students during the year.
11. Student Handbook
The Student Handbook is part of a student's life. Apart from Home work, it also
contains important notices from the school. Parents/Guardians are required to
check the Handbook and acknowledge by signing it on a daily basis.
12. Communication with school
Please inform the school if there is any change of contact details of parents or
guardian as well as any change in your child's health status via the student
handbook.
13. Appointment to see school staff
Parents must call the school to take an appointment to see any staff members.
Parents/Guardians will not be allowed to see students or meet teachers during
class hours.
14. Security at school
We request all parents to follow instructions from security personnel as we are
trying to ensure that your child is educated in a safe and secure environment.
15. Bus Service
The school offers a bus service paid for by parents on predetermined routes. The
bus service is a privilege and not a right. The students have to adhere to the
transport rules and regulations.
16. Loss / damage to school property
In the event of a child damaging school property or losing any material
belonging to the school, it is the responsibility of parents or guardians to pay
in full for repairing or replacing the item.
17. Lunch
Children are expected to bring packed lunch to school daily. A small snack may
also be brought for the recess at 10:30 A.M.
18. Withdrawals
Parents who wish to withdraw their child from the school at the end of the
academic year must apply for the Transfer Certificate (TC) at the Marredpally
Office by the 25th of April of the year of leaving.
